Fendi “Chameleon” Tri-Color Goatskin Top Handle: Fendi’s Karma Chameleon

The latest from Fendi also happens to be the greatest. Fendi is back with a bang! (I’ll always hold a nostalgic place for my Baguette!) The “Chameleon’s” sensuous curves give this practical satchel an alluring shape, one that feels brand new. On closer inspection, you realize it’s not a new shape (still a basic rectangle), it’s just that the panels and seams are so cleverly designed they create that mysteriously alluring deception! No wonder it’s called the “Chameleon.” Genius!

Following the color-blocking trend, each panel has subtle color varieties. And the choices are sublime: warm browns, as appealing as a box of chocolates; soft taupes, a neutral khaki combo; and mildly varied yellows. This is one bag that has a longer lifespan than other current color combo bags. Later releases can explore tone on tone or a change in fabrication, which will keep it current and give it longevity. With this hit, Fendi once again regains “It” status – which says a lot considering there are not many bags that make “it” anymore. If you need further proof, check it out on the arm of young “It” girl Emma Stone. I’m with Emma. The “Chameleon” is enough for me to foray into the house of Fendi once again. On Luisa Via Roma for $2,483.
