When everyone’s thinking about FW and reading all of the magazines and blogs packed full of furry boots and thigh highs try this new trend for something a bit more wearable for pre-fall and fall. We have seen almost every major designer in the accessories market designing sandals, pumps and ankle booties with just a touch for fur.

For the shoe lover this is definitely a must have. My number one pick? The furry sandal by Alexander Wang. It comes in 5 colors and all of our styilsts and edtiors have gone crazy for it. It was one of the first things we shot this season in our American Collections story.

Again, the best way to wear these are to not make them too precious. Pare them with ripped jeans, skinny pants or blk leather pants. They are not only to be worn with pretty dresses. Edge them up!

My Top 5 are:

Alexander Wang- I love it in black. It would go with more.

Nicholas Kirkwood-This style would probably be the most versatile and have the longest lifespan as its more of a bootie and u could wear it into the late fall months.

Christian Louboutin- I love the fur on the back detail and I think these could look great with both a little black dress but even with a pair of blk leather pants to go clubbing, etc.

Altuzarra – I Love the mix with glitter. Its kind of a gay boys dream I guess. Sparkle and fur. Luxe on luxe. Glitter is another major trend so this bad boy is a two-for-one.

Gianvito Rossi- This is cute option for a touch of soft color. Love the peach fur color, so soft, contrasted with the spiked metal heel.
