by Marc Jacobs bag is similar to the MM6 x Opening Ceremony detachable-pocket tote, but with a younger, more playful personality, it’s much cuter (although these pockets aren’t going anywhere, so no change-purse bonus).
Setting this family of pockets apart from the pack is the varying texture. The plush faux fur middle sister adds a lush component and breaks up the monotony of natural leather. But the real beauty of a bag like this isn’t in the aesthetics. When you’re carrying a tote this big, you’re constantly fishing around inside for what you need, even if there’s an inside zip pocket. Two compartments on the outside means no more missing small items – that baby pocket will be the home for many things, like coins, parking tickets, coat check tickets, and so on; of course, the larger pouch is for that phone you constantly find yourself grabbing.
