Living Proof’s New Restore Line: Virgin Hair in a Bottle

I owe a lot to Living Proof because their products got my boyfriend to shampoo and condition! About nine months ago when we were in San Fran I bought him some hair products from the brand and because of their non-feminine smell and streamlined packaging he actually tried them. He showers every day, but once in a blue moon does he actually shampoo and condition…he claims it helps preserve “the natural oils” and gives his hair the softness that I always complement him on. Honestly I can’t argue too much because many stylists talk about limiting the amount of times we wash our hair and his hair usually does look pretty great. Up until using Living Proof however he would use Axe when he did opt to wash his hair and the result was a puffy smelly mess. With Living Proof that “blue moon” comes more often because his hair actually looks its best after using their products! With that I obviously couldn’t wait to try Living Proof’s new Restore line. It smells divine – seriously I can’t imagine anyone saying they don’t like the smell. In fact my mother asked me what I washed my hair with after getting a whiff of my hair at dinner the other night!

The new line claims to “restore virgin hair” after five uses and is targeted to people just like me who shampoo and condition too much, heat style too often, and regularly color their hair (eech..I should know better). The line includes a shampoo, conditioner, and a mask and is made with Living Proof’s signature moisture-controlling molecule (PolyfluoroEster). Virgin hair-restoring or not the products smells awesome, increases shine, tames frizz, leave hair smooth (the thing that I find the hardest for most products to achieve), and you need very little of each of the three products for them to be effective.
