Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray: Surf’s Up, Hair’s Down

There’s a reason Bumble and Bumble‘s Surf Spray has been a tactile, tousled mainstay for years. Forget all the imitators – even masterful Frederick Fekkai’s Beach Hair doesn’t compare. Use it anytime, on any type of hair for instant salty, sexy volume and texture.

This seaweed-and-kelp formula (with magnesium sulfate for a touch of grit) evokes the ocean but you don’t have to hang ten to appreciate it. It does have a dry feeling, but not as in moisture-less, brittle hair (ick). Just like the bottle says, after you spend a day at the beach, your hair leaves with that salty, breezy dryness. That’s what makes it look good!

Freshly washed hair is hard to style, so you need a product to give it some grip, not gunk. For teasing or the elaborate updo, this gives you manageable, day-after hair. If you have curls, it grants you a bodacious windblown or boudoir look – whichever way you style it, the result is bombshell hot. And if you have straight hair, stick-boring locks get touchable texture.

Spritz it on for a perfectly disheveled. Those with heavy hair, be generous. You’ll probably want to anyway. It smells wonderful. A tangled mess never looked so good!

At Sephora for $23.
