Admittedly I was a little biased about Tarina Tarantino’s venture into the beauty biz. Up until about a year or so ago she had a jewelry store in Soho and it was hard for me to imagine that anyone past their tween years would find appeal in the designs on display aside from Katy Perry or Nicki Minaj-type characters. Some of that aesthetic did translate into Tarantino’s cosmetic range, which makes it a great line for anyone with children who are just starting to get into makeup, but the line also has some more understated pieces that are fun for older women with an eye for glitz. ($22) are all stand-outs especially this time of year when we could all use a little sparkle to liven up the cold weather! Plus I like Tarantino’s philosophy of makeup being an accessory. What do you think about Tarina Tarantino’s range?
