Lanvin Crocodile Portfolio Case: I’m Dreaming of a Lanvin Christmas

I have been a very, very good girl this year, so if Santa has been paying close attention, I should find this under the tree: Lanvin’s incredible gray crocodile clutch. A stunning yet deeply unassuming shape is the only way to go for a skin this spectacular. No embellishments are necessary – any hardware would detract from the high-quality crocodile and sleek design. Which is why I’m so pleased there is not even a closure to be seen; everything has been kept sharp and clean, with the closure hidden as a simple tab under the flap.

I don’t even care this is a whopping $14,990, or that it’s on sale at 30% off, since I won’t be the one buying it. Let’s just hope Santa’s budget isn’t in recessionary mode (who funds his operation anyway?).  But I’m not asking for anything else, I swear!  For purchasing, contact Renato at the Rodeo Drive Lanvin boutique at 310-402-0580.

Pair with: With a bag like this, I’ll want to keep my shoes quite and discreet – it deserves all the attention. A wooden wedge brings wearable flair to a simple black pump; Yves Saint Laurent has created a classic that will go with everything.

On Barneys New York for $795.

  1. I am all for spending on the right bag, but you can two brand new Birkins (almost) for that much! Seems a little (to say the least) overpriced for a croc clutch.
