LIV GRN Cherry Wood Body Lotion and Shower Gel: Spoil Yourself Green

It scares me how many people I know have cancer. And when I think of how we inadvertently harm our own bodies, especially when we’re just trying to clean and moisturize – it scares me more. Skin is the largest organ and anything you put on it is absorbed directly into the blood stream. So these days, I am very careful about shower gels and lotions. LIV GRN products are not only non-toxic to people, they are good for the earth. They are so safe I even use them on my son. Made with 70% organic ingredients and containing no harmful ingredients, such as mineral oil, phthalates, parabens, sulfates, synthetic colors, GMO’s, triclosan, or propylene glycol, the LIV GRN skincare collection is non-toxic and never tested on animals. And they smell yummy! The shower gel, body scrub, and lotion are available in three delicious scents: Earth, Natural, and Cherry Wood.

The Cherry Wood shower gel ($15) contains organic aloe leaf juice, chamomile, ginger, hibiscus flower, and green tea extracts, and even apricot. Sounds like an afternoon snack! This gentle gel cleans, moisturizes, and conditions the skin. The Cherry Wood body scrub ($15) takes cleansing to the next level as it exfoliates dead skin cells. It contains jojoba and sunflower oils for softening, humectants to decrease skin’s loss of water, and oat amino acids and extracts to lessen inflammation. The Cherry Wood body lotion ($18) contains jojoba and cottonseed oils and organic aloe leaf juice to soften and moisturize dry skin. It even stimulates cell growth and alleviates irritations.

LIV GRN is a charity-based company that gives 10% of every dollar to Global Green, one of the largest green charities in the world. So, stock up on stocking stuffers that are good for the body and our planet!

  1. if everything we put onto our skin were absorbed into the bloodstream, people would just slap alcohol on their skin and be drunk. might want to fact check things with a doctor before writing.

    1. Lisa, you may want to do some research yourself. (Which I would advise, instead of leaving snide remarks on someone’s page who is trying to spread important information for better health.) Skin is the body’s largest organ, toxins that are contained in skincare products are absorbed into the skin.
