OnGossamer Lingerie: Naughty and Nice

Since styles have literally taken a plunge, our undies need to follow suit. I have amassed many deep-V tops and dresses this season, but I haven’t been able to wear them with any of my bras. They just hang in my closet because I hate going braless – I’m so not that seventies-generation free spirit! And there’s nothing worse than seeing girls fidget with peek-a-boo bra straps. I don’t care if the event is a backyard barbeque or formal cocktail, keep the intimate apparel for intimacy (makes sense, right?!), not public display.

OnGossamer has devised a line of intimates to solve our dilemmas. The Sleek Scoop Neck Bump It Up bra (above) ($42) has the deepest plunging neckline imaginable – and with ingeniously angled cups, it still supports and even pushes up! Silky and sexy, it’s the answer for all those deep-V silhouettes.

Their Mesh Convertible Strapless Push Up bra (below) ($44) (from the Mesh Collection) offers a variety of strap options to solve any other fashion problem. It can be worn as a halter, one-shoulder, or criss-cross style to suit any plunge, dip, or peek-a-boo design. Many bras claim to be convertible, but few are invisible under clothes. Not this one.

The Slimmers slip ($78) is a must under snug dresses. My Spanx slip ends up in a big roll that can be quite humiliating (especially when your husband points it out as you’re walking into the big event saying, “What is that bulge?”). OnGossamer’s slip is ‘engineered’ to stay put and not roll up ever! It has that sought-after slimming power, too.  OnGossamer continues to deliver sensual lingerie to appeal to our womanly wants and hide-and-reveal needs.

  1. 20+ years ago I worked in a tiny PR office in Coral Gables, FL. Across the hall was a fledgling lingerie company, On Gossamer Wing. The girls there were so nice, even sewing my skirt once when it split at the seam! It’s great to see they came so far!!
