Tata Harper Skincare: Answer the Call of Nature

No sooner had I started my write-up on Tata Harper’s all-natural skincare did I take a look at Twitter and see that fashion designer Thakoon had tweeted about his obsession over the brand! Of course, I had to promptly ask him for a quote: “Ah, I’m obsessed. All natural and you really feel it. Also, everything is so dense that you feel it’s nourishing. I love the rose petal spray that you spray on before moisturizer.”

I’m sorry, who is this? One of my favorite designers or a beauty snob fixated on the best of skincare? Apparently Thakoon is both. I have been wanting to try this line but hadn’t found the time to place an order. After Thakoon’s testimonial, I’m now convinced I must.

Tata Harper starting creating 100% natural products that “really work” (a very rare combination, she points out) when her stepfather was diagnosed with cancer, and his doctors told him most of his fancy skincare products were too toxic for him to use anymore. Tata took matters into her own hands, literally, and started creating hand-made products in her Vermont lab. Ingredients like Buckwheat Wax, Willow Bark, Neroli, and Calendula make for cleansers, serums, creams and masks that are as kind to the skin as they are to the earth. Sounds like Thakoon knows best, I’m placing my order asap!

I’ve used Tata Harper’s products for a year now and LOVE them. I still do use other lines from time to time, mostly because I like trying new products, but really feel that Tata’s products work. Now they just need to make them in travel sizes!
