Givenchy Antigona Tote: The Dealbreaker

icon

I have just ONE request for my orange crush. Lately, I’ve found myself using these kinds of big, simple totes again; they’re great for just throwing things in. But can someone find a way to insert a pocket? I’m not asking for a filing cabinet here. I just want one singular pocket. That can’t be too much to ask! I know it’s unlined – and that is part of the casual appeal of a bag like this – but there has to be a way. And, yes, it comes with an attached pouch, which you know I think is a great and necessary accessory. But when it comes to storing your phone, it isn’t functional. Without a interior pocket, it basically becomes a beach bag.

Too bad everything else is as refreshing as a tall glass of fresh-squeezed juice. All I need right about now is this fabulous color, accented by a simple Givenchy logo, and, of course, one measly pocket. Then this bag would be perfect – it would make my year. At Bergdorf Goodmanicon for $1,280.

Pair with: If you can do without the pocket, carry this pumped-up color with a crisp white loafer. Rochas on-trend perforation is a hip take on a preppy staple. At Barneys New York for $850.

    1. I like Roots! But they don’t have this color which is what is driving me crazy about this bag!! And the smooth glossy leather. So amazing.

  1. My inexpensive Ted Baker tote has a pocket. Of course, it isn’t this fabulous orange color, but TB does produce items in vibrant hues!
