Frugal Snob: Target Debuts New Products and Brands

People think we have it all here in Manhattan when it comes to shopping, but we don’t have a Target which means we’re seriously deprived of some of the best picks when it comes to frugal snob beauty product shopping! I’m a huge fan of their exclusive, Nip + Fab (from the woman behind Rodial) and their Ahava products (all of which are based on minerals found in Israel’s Dead Sea), and this week they’re not only adding new products to both of those lines, they’re launching a bunch of new ones and, even better, everything is under $20!

Among the brands you’ll now see lining Target’s aisles are Güd (a pear-scented haircare line from Burt’s Bees), Champneys (a line otherwise only sold in UK spas that includes body butter, body lotion, body oil, and shower gel in various scents), Apotheke: M Suds & Luxuries (an affordable line from a well-known perfumer and designer, Margot Elena – this range includes body products in a variety of scents…I smelled all of them and Blackcurrant Fig was so yummy). They’re also launching new Pixi and Nicole by OPI nail shades and revamping the look of their beauty aisles, so if you’re in a Target in the coming weeks don’t forget to stop by their beauty aisles — or shop online like we Manhattan-ites do:)

  1. um, there’s been a target in manhattan for several years now. are you really a “manhattanite”? and didn’t know this? duh.

    1. There is one in East Harlem that opened a year ago – sorry forgot! It’s so far from where I live in NYC that I forget it exists. And, yes I have lived in Manhattan my whole life.
