OPI Launches New York City Ballet by OPI

How great are these shades? Truly timeless! Each of the New York City Ballet by OPI shades would work any time of the year. Better yet, my favorite, You Callin’ Me a Lyre? (the pink that’s third from left), blends in so well with my nails that even when the polish starts to chip my nails look good making the shade perfect for when I’m traveling and won’t have time to freshen up with a mani. The five sheer neutral hues are part of OPI’s SoftShades collection and can be layered under the collection’s sixth shade, a silver glittery shade, for added dimension. Each polish retails for $8.50 and will be available in April at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA. Home run OPI! Not only are the shades all-flattering (at least I think they are…), but they totally call to mind ballet slippers, tutus, and leotards. Plus, the names are pretty awesome:

You Callin’ Me a Lyre? – pale pink
Don’t Touch My Tutu! – white
Care to Danse? – lilac
Barre My Soul – sheer beige
My Pointe Exactly – sheer gray
Pirouette My Whistle – silver sparkle
