Tom Ford Spring 2012 Limited Edition Collection

If ever I had to commit myself to a single beauty brand it would have to be Tom Ford’s, which is pretty insane since he just launched his full range in November! Not only is the packaging immaculate and not only are the colors so faultless it’s near impossible to choose a favorite, but because he teamed with top researches and developers at Estee Lauder for the collection, all of the products have got the scientific backing to making them effective (many of the makeup products have skincare benefits). Today marks the launch of Ford’s first seasonal, limited-edition collection and if history is an example you’ll want to jump on it fast because women (at least here in NYC…), go MAD for Ford’s products.

Fittingly for the warmer weather the collection focuses on tanned, glowing skin and includes four metallic polishes (Silver Smoke, Gold Haze, Burnished Rouge, and Burnt Topaz…see my mani below, which after five days is still perfect!), a new lip gloss (Gold Dust), and for the first time the designer is launching cream eye shadows (Platinum, Golden Guilt, Burnished Red Illicit, and Shimmering Spice). All of the cream shadows are metallic. They can be layered, but work well on there own. They don’t crease and will last all day and, as you might imagine if you’ve tried anything else from Ford’s range, they’re soft and dry quickly. In May a bronzing powder (in Terra or Gold Dust) will launch. Shop Tom Ford’s range here!
