Bond No. 9 Chez Bond

There’s nothing like warm weather to make you want to shop! And that’s exactly how I ended up adding Chez Bond ($160-$230), to my fragrance collection. It was so beautiful last weekend in NYC that I ended-up spending my Sunday afternoon strolling alongside Madison Avenue and on a whim popped into Bond No. 9. The SA and I started chatting about what fragrances I typically gravitate to and she ended up suggesting I take a whiff of Chez Bond — needless to say, it was love at first whiff! Chez Bond is a strong, masculine scent, but not so assertive that it doesn’t work for women (at least the kind of woman not looking for something overly feminine and floral). Its got a number of my favorite notes including sandalwood, cedarwood, and vetiver. Again this is a very strong scent, not unlike Tom Ford’s musk-based scents or Ambre Narguile from Hermes (though not as sweet as the latter), so if you’re looking for something potently seductive, I highly recommend checking this one out!

On a side note, Bond has two exciting fragrances coming out this summer – the first comes out Memorial Day Weekend and is called Sag Harbor (they opened up a store there last year), and the other will be available on July 24th and is called “I Love New York for Marriage Equality,” in honor of the passage of same-sex marriage.
