Frederic Fekkai Helps Us Gear Up For Summer

Protecting our skin from UVA/UVB rays goes without saying, but more often than not most of us forget to protect our hair from the damaging effects of sun, saltwater, and chlorine. Don’t fall victim and let your mane turn into a frizzy mop!  Fekkai just launched their Summer Hair Collection and it’s tailor-made to fight summer’s environmental aggressors (especially important for those of us with color-treated hair). Fekkai’s summer hair range made its debut last year with Beach Waves (a lightweight styling spray that, when applied to damp or dry hair, helps you achieve that Blake Lively carefree tousled look, without any crunch), and Fekkai Smooth Sailing Anti-Frizz Cream (a lightweight cream styler that fights frizz with a citrus/coconut smell you’ll want to sniff all day).  Now they’ve launched Fekkai After Sun Daily Mask, a deep conditioning mask which detangles and protect from UV rays and color fade and Cooling Shine Mist, which combines a shine spray with UV protection. The new products’ fragrance notes include musk and sandalwood in them…my favorites!

Fekkai’s products are reliably stellar (hands down this Fashion Week backstage staple is my favorite), and the formulations are effective enough that a little goes a long way. Plus it doesn’t hurt that few products can compete with the brand’s scents.

  1. these products get me excited for summer!! does the beach waves spray work well for shorter hair? trying to update my a-line bob.

  2. Oh I love the beach wave look! I wonder how well it will work on really straight hair? Thanks so much sharing!
