Kerastase Cristalliste Collection for Long Hair

Finally something specifically designed for us ladies with long hair from Kerastase! For years I’ve been using the brand’s Oleo Relax Smoothing Masque which isn’t designed for my kind of hair (it’s for thick, coarse hair whereas I have thin, long hair), but it’s one of the few products that can make my knot-prone long hair more manageable. Now thankfully Kerastase has come out with Cristalliste — apparently it’s inspired by Blake Lively’s long hair — and it’s a collection of four products:

  • Bain Cristal for Long/Fine Hair ($38) – a paraben and colorant-free shampoo for thin hair.
  • Bain Cristal for Long/Thick Hair ($38) – a paraben and colorant-free shampoo for thick hair.
  • Lait Cristal ($39) – a conditioner for dry lengths and ends. This product has aloe vera to help detangle.
  • Luminous Perfecting Essence ($42) – a smoothing, luminizing leave-in treatment – I love this one! Just remember that a little goes a long way because if you apply too much you hair can easily become greasy. Apply a dime size amount (one pump), on towel dried hair and work it through your hair and ends and it will work wonders as a detangler/hydrator.

  1. I LOVE the Luminous Perfecting Essence as well. The luxe scent alone is almost worth the price. It’s great on my towel dried hair and even nice on my skin! Using the essence as a moisturizer works really nicely – but just like with your hair, you only need a very tiny drop otherwise your hands just feel greasy. Awesome product!
