It’s good to be “terryble!” By Terry pretty much always produces, and this is a great mascara that really lengthens without clumping. It thickens and elongates even my finest of lashes (which is pretty much all of them, but particularly the lashes hiding on the innermost corner).
I find it works best if I apply a first layer, let it dry, and go back to add a second layer. With some mascaras, that technique sometimes causes major clumping and makes lashes look unnatural, but not with this. The fibers keep extending. If you’re after a falsies look, keep looking (or check out Laura Mercier’s newest mascara). It won’t give you that really thick appearance; it just makes your lashes look long. Which is good, but because I have such sparse lashes to begin with sometimes I need to seriously thicken, especially for photos. This isn’t the right mascara for big photo ops, but for everyday, it’s perfect. Natural enough to wear with very little makeup and a clean face. At Barneys New York for $46.
