Fendi 2Jours Patchwork Stingray Tote Bag: All Patched Up!

Released in the Fall 2012 collection, the 2Jours (a play on the French word “toujours,” or “always”) may be a new bag, but it’s already becoming a favorite! The structured shopper was designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi to be a modern tote with its metal frame top and sleek shape (although, the luggage tag seems to be a bit of a throwback to me). It comes in a wide variety of colors and materials, and this is certainly the wildest and possibly the most extravagant in stingray. I’m not a fan of patchwork. It looks too messy! In my opinion, patchwork belongs on the quilts that your grandmother makes you, not on your designer duds. But there are exceptions to every rule. The stingray gives this Fendi tote polish, while adding a touch of whimsy. It’s the structured look that keeps the multicolored patches from being too much. If you’re really a fan of basics, there is a black stingray version ($4,450), but I dare you to go wild!

Available at Neiman Marcusicon for $7,050.

I love the 2Jours….I have it in blue and would considering buying another as the spring fashion show exhibited some wonderful new variations.
