I’ve found my shoes for Chinese New Year! I just wish they were red. This seems like the best way to bid farewell to the year of the dragon. Now we’re on to the snake, so you know what that means – next year, I’ll be wearing nothing but snake (wait, is that being respectful or disrespectful??). The intricate details on this resin shoe are beyond incredible – it’s like Pucci took a section of the Nine-Dragon Wall and miniaturized it into a wedge. These should be displayed proudly, but that won’t keep me from strutting proudly, too! And with the massive size of this platform, I’ll be about as tall as a dragon, so thank god for the strappy white calfskin to buckle me in. Between the softness of the white and the flower detailing, these will transition well into summer when you can pair them with a flirty (but fierce – remember you have fire-breathers on your feet!) skirt.
