It’s exciting to see my favorite Chinese model, Liu Wen, in the new Oscar de la Renta campaign! To me, she’s living proof that supermodels still exist – Liu is a cover girl, runway regular, and general groundbreaker (she was the first woman of Chinese descent to walk for Victoria’s Secret). For this campaign, she and Caroline Brasch Nielsen were the perfect ODLR women – stylish and sophisticated in the office and decked out in the grandest fashion for special evenings out. The elegant pastel-hued shoot was snapped for Spring 2013 by Craig McDean and styled by Alex White (dying to slick on a cat-eye and put my hair up into a sleek ‘60s beehive right now). The graphic black and white striped gown is on every A-lister’s list, but I’m putting the laser-cut booties on mine. Available for pre-order at Oscar de la Renta.
