Frugal Friday: Shoulder Bags Under $500

Frugal Friday

Get ready to spring into the season with the prettiest hues around. All of these sweetheart shoulder bags run for under $500. Okay, the Opening Ceremony is actually $550, but it’s too cute to exclude (if you give away old bags during spring-cleaning, surely you can rationalize a mini-splurge replacement)! They’re all structured, meaning they look clean, fresh, and frankly, not Frugal at all. Taste the rainbow with these mouthwatering sorbet hues.

Loeffler Randall Rider Bag: Colorblocked to death, yet full of life, this mini briefcase would be perfect for the office fashionista, especially the eco-friendly kind – there’s a buckled strap on the back that can attach to a bike’s handlebars (hence the bag’s name!). On Shopbop for $495.

Rebecca Minkoff RM Collection Box Bag: I’ve made no secret of loving little bags at the moment, and Rebecca Minkoff is the master of the mini. Wear this as a crossbody or double up the chain for a closer fit. Exclusively on Shopbop for $450.

IIIbeca by Joy Gryson Duane Street Messenger: We visited IIIbeca by Joy Gryson’s new boutique and fell in love with the tanned vegetable leather bags. The prices are ridiculously low, but the quality is that of bags that cost much more! At IIIbeca by Joy Gryson for $158.

M Missoni Space Dye Canteen Bag: Now is the time to break out the pastel bags! This little circular has classic Missoni patterning in awesomely ‘80s hues. On Shopbop for $395.

Opening Ceremony OC LA Bag: This bag is not what it seems from the front, but take a view of its profile and awe at the not one, two, or three, but four compartments! Even the messiest of Snobs will be organized with this satchel. On Shopbop for $550

  1. Love them all. The colors are amazing.

  2. great gas, but i feel as though its arrogant to consider these frugal purchases for a lot of people $500 on a bag alone is not an option
