With their trendy color scheme (or lack of color scheme, really), Monique Péan’s eco-friendly bangles are hotter than ever. Fossilized wooly mammoth, one of her favorite materials to work with, provides the perfect, pure blank canvas for the designer’s dark designs, all of which are hand-carved. I would even buy these plain, though – the quality is that good! My favorite bracelet is the dotted ($805) – it has a fun pattern that matures into pure sophistication on the bangle. The graphic stripes ($805) and V-patterned ($805) ones would look good on your arm, too (so maybe indulge in a couple??), but the most intricate and intriguing choice is the scrimshaw ($815). Pair any of these with some gold bracelets or other Monique pieces, and you’ve got a sustainably stylish look. Available at Barneys New York.
