New York Fashion Week Beauty Recap VII

Rodarte: I really didn’t like this season’s Rodarte collection, but I love the hair Kerastase created. Odile Gilbert described it as “rocker princess with a cool, “undone” texture.” That rosette!

Marc by Marc Jacobs: It was old Hollywood glam with a popping red lip for this look. Shiseido’s Dick Page mixed the brand’s Lacquer Rouge in Sanguine and Drama to create the dramatic look.

Tommy Hilfiger: The beauty look at the Tommy show was preppy classic 101, but what I thought was interesting was that Eugene Souleiman didn’t use any products on the hair aside from shampoo and conditioner. It’s rare that the models hair is even washed, let alone that not a single styling product is used. Also interesting was that the hair was not completely blow dried to give it a natural look.

Betsey Johnson: I had to throw this one in here for the plain ridiculous factor. This look makes me want to do jumping jacks with Richard Simmons.
