Royal Botania SURF Hammock: Relaxation Comes in Waves

Royal Botania SURF Hammock

While driving down Wilshire this past weekend, I spotted a little piece of heaven in a furniture store window – Royal Botania’s ultra-luxe hammock. I scared my husband, screaming, “STOP! We have to go see that!” Can you blame me, though? Look at this thing! So many hammocks are terrible eyesores, even the fancy ones at Front Gate. Besides, they have the worst customer service. They sent me a broken umbrella, and then never responded to any of my e-mails, in spite of the fact that the live customer service rep had told me I could only be helped via e-mail (what’s your job then??).

Now before you look at the price of this far superior hammock, prepare for your jaw to drop. Just think of it as an addition on your house because if you live in warm weather, you’re going to be spending just as much time in it! With or without a stunning view, it’s sure to enhance the look of your home and your outlook on life. Royal Botania has some of the most luxurious outdoor furniture, and this is an area where spending a little more shows (cheap furniture always ends up making your space look like a junkyard). Not only will this last, it will look beautiful for years to come.

There’s plenty of room to lounge tête-à-tête with your loved one (or loved ones – I don’t judge). The hammock looks a bit like a glider, which is appropriate because you’ll feel like you’re soaring through the clouds, or as the name suggests, surfing a wave – a very gentle, relaxing wave.

Hammock-parasol ($25,749), cushion ($1,829), X-frame to imbed in the ground ($7,029), and base for integration into the terrace ($5,389) available at Royal Botania dealers. Find the one closest to you here
