I love fur as much as the next Snob. I’ve even developed an appreciation for fur bags, in spite of the fact that always Kelly used to tell me my wallet didn’t need them because it doesn’t get cold (though she is into the look as well, age has softened us). But fur on handles? It hardly seems sensible, nor is it really chic. Joseph’s questionable creation reminds me of Louboutin’s ostrich feather bag (minus the rainbow confetti), and that’s not a compliment. The look isn’t even the real problem – my main issue is that I apply moisturizer all day long. I feel sticky just looking at those handles. It would take no time at all to slick them down and leave the bag looking like a wet dog. Plus, if your shoulders are bare, it’ll itch. The upside is that the fur is removable. I say use it as a collar over a coat and tote this as a clutch. What’s your verdict – snob or slob? Exclusively on NET-A-PORTER for $945.
