What? This bag is super cute – I hardly even noticed it was Burberry. I mean, I didn’t mean it like that! It’s just that there’s nary a tartan print on it. It is Burberry Prorsum, after all. And cute because Dalmatian prints are always cute. The shape is great too. It almost has an Alexander Wang feel. Man, I am just unintentionally destroying Burberry right now. I’m trying to say it’s absolutely fabulous. I love it. The basic duffel design has a zipper closure. The winged gusset is almost a must now, but I don’t mind it here (without it there would be no distinction between it and yet another LV Speedy). This will hold your entire living room. That’s the great thing about the duffel – there are no structural constraints so you can go ahead and pack it in. At Saks Fifth Avenue for $2,295.
I love the calfhair and the shape! I just went and bought the Falda bag from RODTNES – also with calfhair. It resembles the Burberry Prorsum bag a bit. A Swiss friend introduced me to the label, and it’s fabulous! The leather quality and detailing is amazing. I got the one with black calfhair on the front pocket.
