We always get drawn into buying scarves for their bright, beautiful prints, but the functionality is what makes them truly great investments. There’s no quicker way to update a tired jeans and tee outfit than with a scarf. I love to travel with them, too. I’m flying to Paris for Fashion Week, so I brought a large one on the plane to use as a blanket! Obviously the fall chill makes them a necessity, yet even in the summer, I’m wrapping up in mine, whether it’s as a top or a skirt. Needless to say, I make sure to stock up and always love to discover new brands with exciting prints like Natasha Chambers’. The British artist draws each design by hand, then digitizes and prints them onto silk (or a modal mix – my preference!). Her label Lissy Verkade showcases cool, quirky imagery that ranges from tiny Charlie Chaplins to lush, expansive landscapes. Which of her scarves will you be wrapping up in this fall? On Avenue 32 from $195 – $295.
