I’ve found your next obsession – Paire! The new site sells runway jewelry that you can’t find anywhere else, and what better to wear as you’re watching the latest hit the NYFW runways than runway pieces? I just had to bring a few to NYC. First up was Rodarte‘s snake collar ($595) – it’s exclusive to Paire and somehow also on sale. As gorgeous as the front is, just take look at the back – Swarovskis for days! This is a piece you definitely want to wear with your hair up. Another armor-style jewel? Falconiere’s two-tone mesh bracelet ($185). Battling through Fashion Week is like a war – I had to come prepared. While it is a novelty, sometimes that’s just what you need to make a striking impression. A more sensible purchase would be Jean Paul Gaultier’s cross necklace ($1,040). Yes, it’s more expensive, but the plentiful chain look is on trend and just keeps coming back (remember Madonna in the ‘80s?) – think of it as an investment. If you’re not willing to commit, Gemma Redux has another chain necklace ($382) for less than half the price. I just wore it out and can tell you it was a hit! I can’t take credit, though – with the mixed metals, it’s a foolproof piece that will dazzle with anything…on the runway or off. On Paire.
