Salon du Chocolat: Couture Good Enough to Eat

Salon du Chocolat

Chocoholics out there, I warn you – do not read this unless you’re prepared to book a ticket to Paris next week because that’s where this year’s Salon du Chocolat will be held. It’s the world’s largest chocolate-inspired event and is dedicated to the sweet in all its forms – as candy, pastries, even as couture! Each day at 5 p.m. there will be a Chocolate Fashion Show with looks like intricate chocolate hats, bustiers, and wings. Edible couture? Yes, please! Maybe it’s not super sensible, but this is about decadence and fantasy. Before that you can peruse chocolate-making competitions, pastry and candy workshops, and Chocoland, where kids test out their culinary skills (in precious chef hats!). With 550 experts and vendors on hand, there’ll be no shortage of things to do or treats to taste. The event will take place Oct. 30th – Nov. 3rd from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. Tickets are €13 for adults and €6.50 for tots. Book yours here!
