Edward Bess: Color Me Obsessed

Edward Bess

When I met Edward Bess at Bergdorf Goodman in NYC, I was struck not only by his gorgeous face and locks (hair envy does not even begin to describe my feelings on that perfectly tousled mane) but also by his maturity and poise. His first collection of lip colors launched when Edward was just 20, and now seven years later, he’s well established in the industry with a full line of cosmetics and skincare – and it’s all top of the line. I just ran into him again in Dallas at the Forty Five Ten Bonjour Y’all celebration, and thanks to all the non-stop Chanel Paris-Dallas events, I was about as cute as a bedraggled cat. No sleep for three days? No problem! I just snuck over to the Edward Bess counter to freshen up my face. Ten minutes later and I was back in action! The Ultra Dewy Complexion Perfectoricon ($56) wiped away any trace of dryness and left me glowing. An added flick of bronzericon ($45), a touch of lipstickicon ($32), and I came back to life. I still may not have looked as beautiful as Edward, but I was certainly a lot closer! Available at Sephoraicon.

  1. My daughter and I visited NYC in July. We met Edward at his counter at Bergdorf’s and yes he is a beautiful young man, inside and out. He spent time talking and laughing with us, I love all of his products. I would so love to meet him again, maybe our next trip up.
