Totes Under $250

There are few times I’ll set aside my mini bag, but I’m always willing to do it for an adventure, whether it’s surfing, skiing, or my favorite – shopping. And since adventures can sometimes be rough and tumble (sample sale, anyone?), you want a tote that’s not going to break your heart when it gets a scratch – a.k.a. one with a sweet and low price tag. I’ve rounded up half a dozen weekend warriors from Shopbop to fit for the job. None of the basic black variety – all colorful, whimsical, and full of personality!

Jonathan Adler Animal Duchess E/W Tote ($228): Then of course there’s Adler’s own line, chock full of animalia, Technicolor prints, and cheeky sayings.

Botkier Wanderlust Mini EW Shopper ($195): This seemingly boondoggle-inspired plaiting offers up a shiny, new take on the straw tote style.

Tory Burch Lizzie EW Tote ($150): Need a new beach bag? Straw totes may be cute, but PVC is the best way to carry around damp towels and messy snacks.

Juicy Couture Sierra Colorblock Tote ($198): I’m as surprised as you are that this pretty, colorblocked tote is from Juicy Couture. Maybe there’s hope for the brand after all!

Rebecca Minkoff Dylan Tote ($206.50): I’ve been obsessed with pink lately, and poppy is no exception, especially when the sweet hue gets studded.
