Bliss Micro Magic Spa-Powered Microdermabrasion Treatment

I can’t even tell you how many people have bought a Clarisonic because of my raving about it. I used to use it everyday after my workouts at Barry’s Bootcamp and there was almost no day when at least one person didn’t ask me about it. Even though it has been months since I’ve used it, I still have people coming up to me every so often at the gym to tell me they bought one because they saw me using it. Unfortunately I kind of OD’d on it as I also used it at night – yes too much of a good thing is a bad thing so I’ve been taking a break and opting to exfoliate by hand. I’ve already mentioned a few times that I love Proactiv +, which comes with an exfoliator, and I still use that to prevent acne (it’s formulated with 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide) but I also need something to fight signs of aging and that’s where Bliss Micro Magic Spa-Powered Microdermabrasion Treatment¬†(at Sephora for $48) comes in. This micro-fine exfoliant, meant to be used twice a week, is super gentle. The only thing to be aware of is that it has some minty-ness to it meaning you’ll feel a cooling sensation and smell a scent. Admittedly I don’t love the scent, I’d prefer odorless, but there’s no denying that using this twice a week will leave your skin brighter and softer (you should feel your complexion brightening after a week of use). Just because skin isn’t as dry now that it’s warming up doesn’t mean we can skimp on exfoliation…it’s one of the keys to a clear, bright complexion as it prevents dead skin build-up/clogged pores!

  1. I definitely think I should try this. I have very dry skin, but am prone to pimples from time to time. At the moment nothing is taking away the dryness, so a change is definitely in order. Thanks for sharing!
