Victoria Beckham: Victoria Beckham is following a trend we’ve started to see emerge in which designers are going for simple, but non-commonplace updos (Wes Gordon was another favorite). As someone who often goes from the gym to a meeting, I love these updates on a typical top knot.
Altuzarra: Interestingly, Odile Gilbert, who styled the Altuzarra models’ hair (above right), said that she didn’t want the girls to seem as though they had just gotten out of a bath. Am I the only one who thinks that’s exactly what it looks like??
Christian Siriano: The designer was inspired by all things Congo for his collection this season (ironically he’s never actually been to Africa…), and that translated well into his beauty look. Hair stuck to the sides of the models’ faces as though they were walking through the jungle and the mist and wind naturally created these side waves. Not a “real life” look but a spot-on style in light of the designs.
