Shea Terra Organics is a natural skin care line made with unique, indigenous ingredients from Africa. The brand hopes to support the economy of third world countries by sourcing all of their ingredients from them. Their main go-to ingredient is shea butter, one of my all-time favorites (thank you L’Occitane!), which they combine with a number of others that have been proven to help heal skin.
Who doesn’t love Rodial and their Boob Job, Crash Diet and other cheekily-named body products? Unfortunately because the amount of actives that are packed in each of them, those products don’t come cheap. What does come cheap is the brand’s diffusion line Nip + Fab and they’ve just launched a new line bath and body products all of which retail for under $10.
With a name like The Gnarly Whale you know this brand has to be eco-friendly and vegan…am I right!? And I don’t mean that in a bad way…am totally loving the name and the fact that the brand focuses on using as few ingredients as possible in their all-natural bath and body line-up.
Miranda Kerr’s skincare line, KORA Organics, is now available on NET-A-PORTER – we’re merely a click away from supermodel gorgeousness (that’s what I tell myself anyway). Between Kerr’s collection and Josie Maran cosmetics, it seems models have a love of all-natural beauty.

Just as Olympic runners cut down on their records with the help of the best gear, so I will … Continue reading Kai Body Buffer: One for the Record Books
A few weeks ago I attended possibly the coolest event I ever went to. It was billed as “Camp Yes To” and hosted by Yes To founder Ido Leffler. It included everything from a custom trail mix bar (perfect as I was going to Nike run club that night), a massage cabin, a DIY t-shirt … Continue reading Camp Yes To: A Glam Camping Retreat
It’s just 10 short days until Mother’s Day! It can seem daunting to buy gifts for the woman who’s always giving to you. When in doubt, go with beauty products – unlike clothes (which can be hit or miss even with your closest friends), you won’t have to fret about getting the right size. I … Continue reading Mother’s Day Gift Guide: Part One
Happy Earth Month! In honor, I wanted to highlight a great product by one of my favorite eco-friendly brands, AHAVA’s Dead Sea Plants Smoothing Body Exfoliator ($28). I hate sea water because my skin is so sensitive I almost always break out in a rash, the one exception – the dead sea in Israel. Not … Continue reading AHAVA Dead Sea PLANTS Smoothing Body Exfoliator
I’m a big fan of I love My Muff’s wipes because they’re super quick and easy, but below the belt maintenance goes beyond simply refreshing as anyone with ingrowns will tell you, which is where Project Fig comes in. Designed to fight the irritation that often comes with intimate grooming, Project Fig is a natural, facial … Continue reading Project Fig: New Natural Skincare for Intimate Grooming
