The luxury of Loro Piana

loropianaglobe.jpgloropianaglobehazel.jpg

We all know there is nothing more heavenly than having a Loro Piana cashmere scarf. Their patented technique of spinning their yarn gives it that shimmer and the bright colors. You just feel like a million bucks when you throw that on even if it’s over some haphazard outfit. Which is why it is so great for traveling, it’s light and you can use it as a blanket instead of the scratchy, pellet-y, god-knows-who-used-it-and-whether-or-not-they-actually-cleaned-it-before-they-put-it-in-the-bag blanket they give you on the plane (even the first class ones are not up to snuff). So from the house that bring us that kind of luxury, you know their bags were made with the same care and consideration. These are not your hip trendsters – like a reliable Tod’s bag, this will wear for decades and hold up to our daily grind in and out of cars, airports and up and over chairbacks and strollers. The globe bag features special seams on the sides that allow it to fold in and collapse (as shown in picture) or stand up and be a tote! Ingenious! We love them transformer bags – it’s like having multiple bags. It comes in 3 sizes. The mini is just cute even if it’s not as functional but get it in red and you will be super hot this Fall with the “it” color of the season.

Both the Mini Fjord Globe for $1795 and Medium Fjord Globe for $1995 are available at Neiman Marcus.
