Retro Kids Kitchen

Bobby Flay and Rachel Ray eat your hearts out! This is the perfect play kitchen for any budding chef. The three piece set on sale for $649 consists of an icebox, stove, & sink. The fabulous retro design has a ton of interactive features, including removable salt-and-pepper shakers on the stove, a ticking timer, and a sliding cooking gauge. The icebox has two doors, one adjustable shelf, plenty of storage space for pretend food, and a faux thermometer. The sink actually holds water so kids can scrub their pots and pans. However, if your tot has enough imagination to pretend cook, they can pretend wash too and avoid a lot of clean up!

I looked at many play kitchens before purchasing one for my daughter. What I really liked about this one is the quality, attention to detail, and, of course, style…most important to any Mom Snob. Also, the height is perfect for toddlers — manageable for two year olds and just right for four year olds. Since you know they aren’t going to outgrow it tomorrow, the money is well spent, especially since the play kitchen in our house gets more action than the real one. Now, if they could only throw in a few cooking lessons. Available at Pottery Barn Kids.
