Who doesn’t love Heidi Klum? We here in the Snob world are great fans of hers. So when the chance came to ask Linda Hay, Victoria Secret’s Head Makeup artist some question about the look she helped create for Heidi at the Emmys we were more than ready! The look was an amazing old Hollywood glamour style. MSN Style Studio’s Helena Faccenda did Heidi’s hair for the night. Heidi’s makeup was done with pieces from her new line for Victoria’s Secret, Heidi Klum Very Sexy Makeup Collection. Keep reading for some great style advice from the lady who makes Victoria’s Angels shine.

Where did you get your inspiration for Heidi’s Emmy night look?

The Hair and Make up inspiration came from the couture Dior gown Heidi wore. The final look was a collective decision made by Heidi, MSN Style Studio Helena Faccenda (hair), Maryam Malakpour (stylist) and myself.

Tell us a little about it.

To create the look. I kept the skin as bare as possible. The eyebrows were strong and heavily defined using “Dark Chocolate” eye pencil from Victoria’s Secret. I kept the eyes naked using the paler colors from Heidi’s new palette called “Beautiful”, the pale pink on the eyelid, the steel in the socket, and silver as a highlight below the brow and a little dot at the inside of the eye. hen I applied 4 layers of Black Mascara to the top and bottom lashes. The cheeks had a brush of Love Life Mosaic Blush just on the apple of the cheek. The lips were lined with “Red Light” and painted with “Don’t Stop”, a great matte red lipstick, all from Very Sexy Victoria’s Secret. Then all her exposed skin was sprayed with my new favorite Heavenly Body “Glimmering Moisture Mist”. It’s a great hydrating spray laced with a very fine gold shimmer that really brings the skin to life.

Do you have a favorite piece of makeup from the collection?

Heidi’s chocolate flavored lipgloss.
