As the holidays approach, I am on a search for stylish party wear for both my son and daughter. I am not crazy about the cream puff dresses and supper club style jackets that are always available. For the girls, everything is always cream or black velvet with a hideous red plaid laid over a petticoat larger than Scarlett O’Hara’s. Pinstripe Prep’s Argyle V-neck Sweater
While my guy isn’t big enough for this one yet, I do love this argyle v-neck sweater from Pinstripe Prep. The argyle carries over the front to the back left shoulder and is a great alternative to the classic sport coat. Creator, Jamie Coblentz, goal is to design preppy pieces without pretention. They call it “country club couture without the snobbery.” The fresh design approach will have your little one feeling comfortable rather than stuffy and stiff in his clothes. Hey, maybe he’ll be nicer to the cheek-pinching relatives at this year’s holiday party.
