Beauty Snob Tina met up with Phillip Pelusi(one of her favorite hair gurus), creator of the 100% organic hair line, Tela, last week when he was in town from New York. She is now obsessed with the line and has been glossing her hair with all the fabulous Tela conditioning products! Tela available at Barneys New York!
It occurred to me when I first came across the Tela Beauty Organics line from Philip Pelusi, that while so many of us spend countless hours agonizing about which organic food products to buy, I for one, beyond making sure they’re properly tested, don’t stop and think about what’s in the skin and hair care products I use. Of course, to a large part that’s because the ingredients are mostly indecipherable! Nonetheless, it’s refreshing to know that Philp Pelusi has got our back with his new Tela Beauty Organics line. Pelusi, who owns a chain of salons, developed the line of organic products which sell at Barneys, are certified USDA Organic, and come in fittingly green packages. The line consists of various organic shampoos, conditioners, and styling products to tackle everything from flat hair, to dry hair, to even aging hair!
My personal fav is Guardian their sun-protection product which comes complete with SPF 18, the highest available for hair care products…good news for anyone whose ever had their scalp, (sigh), burned in the sun:(
