L.A.M.B. Peep Toes

lamba2028112867_prod_zoom_front_v1_m56577569831122362.jpgI have a feeling a lot of people will hate this pair of shoes ($315), but I can’t help it — I think they’re so adorably quirky that I just had to have them! They come in red too, though I’m less of a fan…too clownish in red.. That said, I love spicing-up a classic look with fun shoes and L.A.M.B has some wonderful options. I actually bought a similar pair a few years ago from D&G (except the flower was smaller, red, and just above the peep toe), but they hurt too much for me to wear them…I’ve only worn this pair once since I got them and I ended-up doing a lot of walking, so that might be a big part, but the shoes ended-up hurting around where you fasten them on the side…I’m 100% against wearing shoes that can damage your feet (nothing worse than seeing people with blisters all over their toes!), so while I love these, I won’t be wearing them anytime soon when I’ll be doing a lot of walking:)

Also it pains me, because I bought these full-price when they first came out, but the ‘Georgina Open Toe Pumps’   are now on sale for an unbeatable price ($276.50). I just wore these last night with this dress (looove Catherine Malandrino!), some Kenneth Jay Lane baubles and a white double-wrap Hermes Kelly bracelet (the Georgina’s I bought are white and silver), and a black croc clutch that belonged to my grandmother. The only problem with these shoes is that you can’t walk in them too much either or they’ll start hurting by the toes and on the side…Unfortunately, while I love L.A.M.B. the quality of their materials and craftsmenship does leave something to be desired…
