Travel in style with Louis Vuitton City Guides

lvcityguides.jpg

For 10 years, the Louis Vuitton City Guides have been capturing the spirit of cities. Now with the new 2009 edition, there are many new destinations, a new design, and new sections. To celebrate ten years of traveling throughout Europe, the new collection of Louis Vuitton City Guides will appear in a revised format on 15 October. I received a set of the LV City Guides right before I left for my trip to Paris and it was the most useful thing next to having my passport! The guide is full of wonderful suggestions for restaurants, hotels, sightseeing as well as local destinations that are not usually on a tourist’s radar. With my Louis Vuitton guides, I discovered many treasures on my trip– including a 250 year old candy store in Paris which is still operated the same way it has been since 1761 with all the candy made on site! The newly revised City guides will be available at LV boutiques worldwide on October 15th. Whether you’re headed to Asia, Europe or just a quick getaway to Miami– get the City Guides from LV before your next trip and you will have the best time of your life! Prices range from 25 Euros and up.

  1. Tina these books look ultra glam…do they truely have non tourist tips….lots of books claim to have them but I never seem to think they do!

Also would you say they are better than the lonely Plantes holiday book guides?

Talking of books I have just started reading Bringing Home The Birkin, I think its fabulous have you read it?

    L.xo

  2. I looked at LV website today but I can only see the yellow ones, I assume those are the old guides? I hope they’ve included Central Europe in the new ones, I think omitting so many fab cities in the old guide is simply rude.

  3. Bringing Home The Birkin-just the title makes you think when does the love turn into obsession…and yes,I am obsessed just as much as the author:P

  4. i love these guide books! i received mine, exactly ten years ago from a girlfriend and used them consistently when i traveled to europe annually! the new design is fantastic!
