Lucy Liu shines in Kotur!

It’s not easy being a glamorous movie star these days.  Paparazzi chase you down your driveway and sell your photos to magazines who tear you apart for your weight, your clothes, and your choice of lovers.  It’s enough to make a girl want to stay home and curl up with a book or movie but not this bold fashionista!  Lucy Liu has been one of my favorite actresses since her first growl as Ling on Ally McBeal and I always love her fashion choices.  Unconventional and chic, Lucy pulls off things with effortless style.  Like the exotic feather Joet below from Kotur ($598 at Neiman Marcus 1.888.888.4757) — a unique little stunner that she carried to Obama’s Black and White Ball held last Thursday.  We love Kotur and were not surprised that Lucy does, too.  She was seen wearing Kotur again last Saturday at a Trump International Hotel event where she used the sleek and long Miller (photo above).  I love that she paired such a severe and contemporary bag with a printed and silky soft pleated dress– the contrast is what makes the outfit interesting and totally Lucy.  Miller bag $348 at Kotur.com (jump for more photos!)

Less is more, the simple little Miller clutch is all you need to look polished.

Feather Joret $598– I am not a feather on my bags girl but this clutch is done so well and the feather actually looks like textured leather.  I loved that it is finished in snakeskin, very luxurious.  Joret at Neiman Marcus– call 1.888.888.4757 to order!

  1. Lucy Liu always looks so polished and sexy. It’s nice to see a fellow Asian American say something nice about her instead of tearing her down which is sadly what I usually hear.

  2. Lucy Liu looks fabulous. She is one of my favorites. Her choice of clutches in these two pictures are a great addition to her wardrobe. She is very classy, talented, and has great fashion taste.

  3. i think the problem with lucy is the bitchy roles she plays so well, people think she’s like that in real life. i think she looks great. the feathered clutch is interesting but not for me.

  4. I saw Lucy on a much watched TV talk show when she was here in France for Cannes promoting the Panda movie and she was right next to Dustin Hoffman who was just hamming it up and she was great, really natural and seemed like she would be a good gal-pal. I do lover style too.
