Give Me Long, Clump-Free Lashes!

jennifer_lopez400.jpgAll I want is long, clump-free lashes! I’ve been using Estee Lauder’s TurboLash ($30), which is that new vibrating mascara from Estee Lauder and I think it’s been making my lashes fall-out! I’ve used their mascara in the past and liked it, but not only do I find the vibrations annoying, the mascara has been drying-up and clumping on my lashes making it impossible to take off the makeup without them falling-out…err…I gave this product the benefit of the doubt because I’ve heard so many rave reviews about it, but I’ve used it too long and now my lashes are all stumpy:( Luckily, I’ve done some searching and found some nice alternatives!

Though I could do without the design on the package, this is a mascara that def gets the job done. More after the Jump!

PROD_1036825_XL.jpgAvon SuperShock ($4.99) has a really great brush with stiff, tiny bristles that make application quick and easy, while keeping your lashes separated:)

Prescriptives’ Beyond Long Maximum Length Mascara ($19.50) is the best when it comes to reaching every one of your lashes (even the smallest of the small). The grip is genius and I love the simplicity of the packaging. The mascara is also super-easy to take-off which is essential when trying to preserve your lashes!

DO YOU LOVE IT OR HATE IT?

  1. Sahron I love the Christian Dior Show Mascara but I have seen they have just released a new version with a rubberie/plastic brush…think I’m gonna try it will let you know!!

  2. Yes, I agree the only way to get the eyelashes like in the pics above is with wonderful false eyelashes. The bad news…they are tricky to use. The worst news…people with latex allergies CAN NOT use them. The glue that holds the lashes on has rubber latex as part of the adhesive. So much for that idea. However, I have used several different mascaras from Avon and the Supershock is the best! If you watch for sales you can pick this mascara up for around 4 bucks a tube. This is a GREAT buy!

  3. Theres a vibrating mascara from lancome too, its clump free and really lengthens , ur lashes will look like falsies

  4. Thanks for the mascara tips! I’m going to buy the Fresh on your recommendation. I’m trying to get out of my rut. I usually use Prescriptives False Eyelashes, which I LOVE. It’s #1 on my list….just looking for a change of pace.
