Leighton Meester decked-out in NARS makeup at the 3.1 Phillip Lim show.
What could be better than a line of cosmetics inspired by runway
looks? You know they’ll go perfect with your wardrobe! The fall 2008 NARS collection,
with its glowing palette of neutrals in shimmering tones, is a great complement
to the bold, solid hues, and feminine textures that will be big this fall. Of course
NARS blush is always amazing. I tried the NARS Powder Blush in Dolce Vita which not
only was a great complement to my skin-tone, but it’s so wonderfully soft that
it’s a treat to put it on. I also love their new nail color, which is a dusty
pomegranate color called Rebel Yell (I’m sooo over the bright, peachy colors of
summer!).

I checked in with the PR team behind NARS for you and they gave me the full run-down on her look! Here goes–
NARSskin Mud Mask followed by a mix of NARSskin Aqua Gel Hydrator and Brightening Serum — for an overall glow.
A small amount of NARS Firming Foundation in Punjab around the actress’ eyes and nose. NARS The Multiple Bronzer in Tuomota and The Multiple in Maldives to give her cheeks a sun-kissed look.
To create her bright, shimmering eyes, NARS Single Eyeshadow in Cyprus as a base and NARS Single Eyeshadow in Blondie along with NARS Duo Eyeshadow in Elsa (iridescent lilac shade). Finally, to finish the eye, NARS Single Eyeshadow in China Blue and Bali and NARS Mascara in Bamboo.
Meester’s lips were moisturized with NARS Lip Balm in Sabrina. NARS Lip Liner Pencil in Fantasia was then applied and topped off with the NARS Lip Gloss Duo in Giza/Boogie Nights.
To add a natural glow, NARS Blush in Super Orgasm was used on Meester’s cheeks and forehead.

NARS really is a great pick. Personally I love their blushes and shadows the best — Blondie, Lola Lola, Galapagos, Night Clubbing, Night Fever and the new shade Fez are my faves:) and still have not been to the Waverly, but thanks to the wonderful Bag Snob Tina am going to go after I get back from my trip to Paris in mid-October!!:)

As the emmys have just been reported on I have a question…due to living in the
“Sunny Climes” of England I never get my legs out nearly as much as I would like, is there a trick to getting glowing shiny looking legs like they do on the red carpet without having the cally sunshine and a spary tan?
Also any tips on how to keep your pins smooth through the tight wearing season…. I find it so hard to get a body moisturizer that really sinks in and doesn’t just sit on the surface!
