Pauric Sweeney Day Glo Bag: Snob or Slob?

dayglopauric.jpg

I am strangely attracted to this funky day glo two tone python bag from Pauric Sweeney.  It’s so kitsh it’s actually cool.  I feel like I am back at a rave club (if you are too young to remember rave clubs, email me and I can explain more in colorful detail) circa 1993.  I can even hear the heart thumping ear splitting techno music as I gaze at it.  And this thing is huge at 40cm which makes me wonder if there is a disco ball inside.  €1,265 at Browns Fashion.  What do you think?  Snob or Slob?

  1. I know what raves are and I have to say Snob to the day glo bag. I just like the mirrored fun python look, will be great for ny’s eve.

  2. Slob – too much going on and it’s far too big. This was in the UK NAP sale until the very last day, so obviously other people had the same view.

  3. Snob! The mirrored pink python is gorgeous & I love the shape even if it is a little big.. however if I saw anyone over 30 carrying this I would definitely do a double take

  4. Maybe this is because, by the time I was old enough to go, raves were no longer cool, but…

    Slob. All the way.

I hate brown with fuchsia / purple / magenta, or whatever you want to call it. I’m thinking magenta, which I hate all on its own (although it’s tempered by the “ombre” effect there). I don’t know, too much going on fro one bag – it’s a little tack.

But, you know, some people can rock any look. Not me, but maybe you!

  5. Is there a snlob option? This would be the perfect match to my David Bowie 1990 Tokyo t-shirt and some skinny jeans, I’m just not sure what else I would wear with it.

  6. snob in 1999 🙂 actually i think it was about 2002 when there was an inexplicable pink snakeskin trend.

p.s. sickgirl, i’m mad jealous of your david bowie shirt.
