Michael Kors “Rehearsal” Bag

mkrehearsalbag.jpg

Someone asked for a gray bag the other day and then I saw this simple and unassuming bag from Michael Kors. You want gray? You got gray! But do you really want to go there? I love gray and actually overdosed on it last year which is why this year, I’m all about color. But hey, to each its own and if you insist on gray at least I can guide you to a pretty gray that is elegant and not drab or depressing.

I had this bag on my arm the other day and it’s very supple and lightweight. The brushed aluminum hardware adds a bit of brightness to it and of course it’s very useful. Who can’t use a shoulder tote bag in a neutral tone?  I’m just worried you’ll get bored and if you do, there is a metallic python version of the same (now that has me excited!). I guess this bag is named “Rehearsal” because it’s a stand in for the metallic python version? Michael Kors Handbags & Accessories at Nordstrom.

  1. hmm.. i tend to go for “boring” bags (minimal and grey – yes please) but this is a little too blah. it might look better in person though, i hate it when bags are photographed all slumped over and empty! makes them look depressed.

  2. Banana Republic has some neutral bags that so remind of this MK bag…lol. Oh well, too blah Tina! I have only neutral bags I realized, I’m boring! I need some magenta or electric blue to lighten my collection up

  3. But Tina, I am a little disappointed with this choice. Why did you not suggest a YSL bag? They have elegant gray shades, and the bags feel even better in person than they look in pictures.

  4. Now this is something I’d jump on in a minute. It’s gorgeous and subtle. I don’t like to draw attention to my bags, especially with all the crime right now. Low key is good
