I’m actually not a huge fan of Reem Acra. Besides the dress Christina Applegate wore to the Emmy’s I didn’t like very much from the Spring/Summer 2009 collection, but I absolutely love, love this gown! It has that sort of fairy tale-princess vibe without being too girly. Beyonce rocked this dress in Madrid at an awards ceremony, while Olivia Wilde wore it at the 2009 Golden Globes — both ladies look gorgeous. It’s a tie for me! For a black tie event in the winter I love the hue of Beyonce’s dress, but for warm months Olivia’s is fab! Which lady’s look do you favor?
Tina…this is a toughie!! I think both ladies rocked the look and clearly have a good eye for what suits them, their skin tone and body shape…possibly a colour swap for them wouldn’t have looked quite so fabulous!
Just my opinion and what the hell do I know though…i personally would have gone for the black as I always play it safe with evening gowns my bravest yet has been a malti coloured pink and green and that took some courage!! Do you often opt for colours rather than balck?
