This majorly hip Kooba is right on with the “hobo with attitude” trend that I am seriously digging. Everyone loves hobos for their usefulness but I can do without the boho in hobo. This one is edgy and chic and the sky blue is gush worthy! It is not overly detailed, just the loose pleated sides and the slanted belt to give it its spunk. The price is also right on, for $645 you get a big leather bag made in Italy (although, I think it is just Italian leather). The shoulder straps are adjustable starting at a 10″ drop. This is a grab it and go bag, take it to the gym, on the plane, throw it in your trunk for an overnight trip! I first saw it in a luggage brown that instantly got me but I wished for it in blue and after some research, voila! The perfect shade for summer, the sky blue is still neutral but way better than a dark bag for the summer. At Kooba.com or Saks Fifth Avenue for $645.
I just saw this bag on bloomingdales.com and they are calling it the Tess hobo and they show it in the blue color. The shape is more east west then north south and i am wondering which shape is better. Also there is a new bag by Kooba that is on bloomingdales called the Liz tote and i think its Fab! It comes in green or white i need your opnion thanks.
The Tess is smaller but I still like the Dale better, the belt that goes across becomes out of place when it hits the bag in the center, which is what happens on the Tess. I am not thrilled with the Liz, it is like a giant drawstring that isn’t functional. But that green is great!

I was just on the PinkMascara site, and saw this bag on pre-order, in natural python, for under $1,000…..hummmmm, very tempting. I’ll have to see which style name it is. I believe it was Tess. I was wondering about that diagonal strappy thing, cute but not functional.
I just checked the site again, and it’s the Dale! I’m seriously thinking this could be the economy/snob bag for the season.
…it’s not python, but leather! Of course it is….dah!

Hi Kelly, Im a new fan of Bag Snob and feeling like im in bag heaven now =) I really like this Kooba bag for its design, color & price! but feel its rather big (im small at 5’1″!). Any ideas for a hobo and a clutch in sky blue or grey? Thanks!
