Celeb Trend: Suspenders

Photos from People.com

The first fashion show in the Bryant Park tents that I ever saw during Fashion Week was J. Lindeberg back when I was in High School (I believe it was their first and last time showing in the tents actually!). I don’t remember much from the show except that they had the most fabulous pair of pants with build-in suspenders (and that my parents wouldn’t take me to the after party at then hot spot The Park!). When those pants finally came out I remember trying them on and wishing they would fit, but the ill-fitting pants made my legs look like two stuffed sausages. Since then I have amassed quiet a collection of suspenders, but I’ve never actually worn the jeans-and-suspender look out. I love the menswear-inspired look, but I can’t help but feel slightly uncomfortable every time I put them on (especially the ones the hit down the chest). Can you pull-off suspenders? See some after the jump!
